In our focal scripture, Rebecca was in a similar situation and she asked this question; Why is this happening to me? Or Why am I like this?(NKJV) 
Why did Rebecca ask this question? The bible says she had had series of struggles and fights within her; these fights led to her question. Rebecca had internal struggles that weighed her down.
Friend, we’ve all had struggles. Perhaps you’re in the midst of one now. Well, I have news for you, You are not alone. There is nothing you’re going through that is new or uncommon.
We all have both internal and external struggles, struggles such as past pains, emotional imbalance, betrayal, abandonment, abuse, accidents, moodiness, arrogance, anger, anxiety, resistance, ridicule, sadness, insecurity, cynicism, deception, manipulation, denial, financial challenges, et
These are some of the practical issues we all have to deal with. Job, Jeremiah, Abraham, Moses, Paul, John, Elijah and even Jesus all had to deal with them. That’s why the bible says:
1Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
1Corinthians 10:13 “No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he will never let you be pushed past your limit; he will always be there to help you come through it.” (MSG)
