LIVING BY THE SWORD-1
Breaking the Esau code
LIVING BY THE SWORD-1
Genesis 27:40 “By your sword you shall live, And you shall serve your brother; And it shall come to pass, when you become restless, That you shall break his yoke from your neck.”(NKJV)
…From yesterday…
Genesis 33:3 “And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.”
Genesis 33:4 “And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.”
The same Esau who was left alone and given up for a nonentity now had four hundred men working for him, while Jacob that cheated him now had to bow before him trembling not once but seven times.
It was obvious Jacob was terrified of his brother. Esau had become so powerful, wealthy and influential that Jacob had to bow and accept the fact.
Friend, it doesn’t matter how men and life had dealt with you. Perhaps the people you trusted, maybe family have cheated you and made away with what rightfully belong to you. I want you to relax, their is hope in your end. You can catch up, recover and even overtake them. Never say never.
Who will ever believe a day will come when the same “all wise, witty and smart” Jacob will come crawling and begging! Don’t give up on life and on yourself, a lot of positive things can still happen in your life and destiny
Esau as we have seen became wealthy and could stand shoulder to shoulder with Jacob. He matched his brother dollar for dollar, when there is life, there is hope.
Now, to our main focus in this piece. The big question we want to answer is this: How did Esau make his fortune? How was it possible for him to achieve greatness and wealth proportional to that of his brother?
After Jacob stole his blessing, he came to his father and begged him to give him just one blessing
To be continued…
