Genesis 22:4 “Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.”
Genesis 22:5″ And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship and come again to you.”
…From yesterday…
Well beloved, that’s not how faith works. A wise man said even if you can’t see the whole stairway, start climbing all the same; that is the law of faith.
Come to think of it, a human being like us constructed a storey building and we start climbing the stairs to get to the tenth floor without even thinking about it.
The truth is we can only see the top of the building and the very few steps on the stairway, yet we keep climbing having “faith” that we will get to the tenth floor. What if we get to the fourth floor and the stairs end? We brush such thoughts aside and keep on climbing with our focus on the tenth floor.
Friend, that is faith in what a man has designed and said, how much more faith in the living God.
Abraham probably didn’t even see any “stairs” but he knew he would somehow get to the top and get back as well. He wasn’t bothered about the logistics and details.
How would he and Isaac come back together? He had no idea, but he knew, “We’ll be back!”
Friend, you are broke and you’ve got bills to pay, where will the money come from? I don’t know, but “You’ll be back” with the funds.
The doctors said the sickness is terminal and people don’t survive it. It is from hospital admission to the grave. Well, that is their own diagnosis, you may not be able to figure out things, but be sure of this, “You’ll be back home, alive and well!”
You are facing a difficult examination that people don’t pass, perhaps you’ve written it and couldn’t write much, don’t worry, “You’ll be back” with an outstanding successful result in Jesus  name.
