Leave Them Behind-3
Genesis 22:5 “And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship and come again to you.”

The ass was also dropped. What does the ass represent? The ass is a beast of burden and it is synonymous with load.
Beloved, it is high time you dropped every load that has been keeping you away from miracles, breakthroughs and divine encounters. There are some loads that will never allow your miracle to materialize until you drop them. For example:
Mark 11: 25 “And when ye stand praying forgive if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
Jesus said here that unforgiveness is an anti-miracle and anti-prayer load. He instructs you drop it fast if you want answers to your prayers.
There are other “ass” or load to leave behind if you truly desire a divine encounter, they include loads such as hatred, anger, bitterness, backbiting, envy, malice and the likes. These are all loads that truncate the miracle process.
Friend, drop those distractions and the things that will work against your faith, and pick up only the things that are relevant to your vision. That was what Abraham did.
I remember when David was to go after the Amalekites in 1 Samuel 30.
1 Samuel 30:10 “But David pursued he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.”
David here needed to go after the Amalekites that took his family and he was going with 600 men. But along the line 200 men were left behind, these were the folks that were too tired to fight.
If David had insisted on going with those 200, he might have lost them or they might have become liabilities and loopholes the enemy would have exploited.
Friend, choose your team, discern the men and items that will aid your miracle. Leave the irrelevant behind!
