Adequate preparation-3
Genesis 22:3 “And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up and went unto the place of which God had told him.”

The question is rip open or cut asunder to reveal what? The answer is in that same verse, it means to reveal “a dry ground through the midst of the sea”. A dry ground or a path way that is in the middle of the sea!
Then I got it, God was simply telling Moses, “Tell the children of Israel to go forward, while you lift up of your rod to reveal the pathway that I have already provided through the middle of the red sea.” Hallelujah! (My translation)
Friend, nothing takes God by surprise. He knew in advance and made provision in the red sea for their safe passage. Not only that, He knew a day will come when they will be thirsty in the desert so he made preparation and kept water inside the rock for them.
Friend, there is nothing you are going through that God hasn’t prepared for, if only you can ask for His plan, He will open you up to the preparation He has made for you right from the foundation of the earth.
Jesus came to earth and also showed us this principle by spending thirty years to prepare for an assignment of three and half years! The problem with most of us is that we want to use three and half years to prepare for an assignment of thirty years, no wonder many failed woefully.
As a matter of fact anybody that fails to plan and prepare, the bible refers to them as foolish people. Hear this:
Matthew 25:1 “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.”
Matthew 25:2 “And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.”
