Problems in High Places-16
1 Samuel 16:14 “But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.”
1 Samuel 16:15 “And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.”

Here is another thing we see in the life of a man who God stays with:
1 Samuel 3:19 “And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.”
When God is with a man his word carries authority and power. What he says comes to pass. Heaven backs up his utterances. When he prays, he receives answers. When he commands demons, they obey.
There is nothing that makes a man invincible as much as the fact that God is with him. So what makes God to be with a man? How do I get God to reside with me? There are several things, but let me share one or two with us:
John 14:23 “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”
John 14:24 “He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings…”
Two key things to note in these scriptures: love God and obey him! One interesting thing I have discovered about God is that he is not complex, just as his commandments are not grievous. His instructions are easy and simple enough.
As a matter of fact, it is man that tries to complicate things. God says if you want me to move in with you just love me and obey me.
To love God means to shower your affection and passion on him. Love what he loves and hate what he hates. Doing this is as simple as picking up your bible and knowing his likes and dislikes and following accordingly!
It looks so simple, but many find it difficult to do. Beloved, let the Spirit of God guide and order every one of your steps and you’ll see yourself pleasing him always.
