Problems in High Places-12
1 Samuel 16:14 “But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.”
1 Samuel 16:15 “And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.”

1 Samuel 16:18 “…and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD [is] with him.’
The fifth quality is “prudent in matters “. This simply means an unusual degree of wisdom.
No king wants a foolish man or woman around him. Every king wants a man that can brainstorm for him while he attends to other pressing matters. The palace is not meant for fools and idiots.
The palace is meant for the nobility! People in the palace use their heads and take initiatives. If you can’t think and solve problems creatively your journey to the palace is still far.
To be prudent also means to discern, to be intelligent, understand and pay attention to details. If you think you are not prudent, however, I have good news for you, hear this:
Ephesians 1:7 “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”
Ephesians 1:8 “Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;”
Ephesians 1:9 “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:”
Beloved, according to Apostle Paul, one of the things salvation offers us is wisdom and prudence. The word prudence as used here talks about practical insight and understanding. It means an unfolding of mysteries or secrets.
Being prudent is part of our salvation package, but, unfortunately, many believers don’t tap into this dimension of grace. As long as you are born again, this great ability is in you already, all you need to do is activate it. It is high time we began to act with prudence in all matters of life.
