Problems in High Places-4

1 Samuel 16:14 “But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.”
1 Samuel 16:15 “And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.”
…From yesterday…
King Solomon had set about building God’s temple, but he needed a skilled man that could work for him. So he sent to the king of Tyre to help him out.
Beloved, there will always be problems in high palaces. There are enough vacancies, but there are simply not enough people there that can handle the problems.
The King of Tyre then sent a man to Solomon. His name was Hiram. He was a poor guy from a very humble background. His father was late and he was probably living in a remote village, but guess what?
1 Kings 7:13 “And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.”
Despite his location, King Solomon sent for him! Just like David, Hiram arrived at the palace to solve problems for the most powerful man on earth as at then and guess what? He did it excellently, finishing it all!
1 Kings 7:40 “Hiram then fashioned the various utensils: buckets and shovels and bowls. Hiram completed all the work he set out to do for King Solomon on The Temple of GOD:” (MSG)
Hiram was greatly rewarded along with others. I guess he was even given the maintenance contract. You can’t do such a great work and not be handsomely rewarded.
We have laid the foundation for this piece. We have seen David and Hiram solve problems in high places. Now, let’s talk about one of the reasons why this piece was written.
One of the major reasons is to reveal to us why these people were the ones selected to solve those problems and what it will take for you and I to be sent for in high places as well.
Like I said earlier, it won’t cost God anything to go into any “palace” and create a problem for you to solve, but then he has to see certain traits is you.
To be continued…
