Problems in High Places-3
1 Samuel 16:14 “But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.”
1 Samuel 16:15 “And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.”
…From yesterday…
So David arrived in the palace against popular opinion. He arrived in the palace and became the man that kept the king sane. He was solving a major problem in the palace.
King Saul loved him when he resumed at his duty post in the palace:
1 Samuel 16:21 “And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer.”
He was just tailor made for the position.
The truth like we have established is that every prominent person has a problem to be solved, so, they are always looking for problem solvers, but the question is, “Can you qualify for the position?”
It won’t cost God anything to go to the best palaces in the world and create problems there, but the issue God has is with you! Can you and I be found suited for the position?
Many people are wondering why they are stranded in life and why things are not working in their favour. Some even conclude that God has not been fair to them; but the issue is this, God will not send you to a palace only for you to get there and mess Him up!
There is a similar story that always baffles me. Hear this:
2 Chronicles 2:7 “Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that [are] with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.”
2 Chronicles 2:13 “And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father’s,”
King Solomon had set about building God’s temple but he needed a skilled man that could work for him. So he sent to the king of Tyre to help him out.
