Illumination-2
Genesis 21:19 “And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.’
…From yesterday…
Another meaning of the word is “to be observant”. Friend, can it be that you are in the midst of plenty but can’t see it because you are not observant enough?
In science experiments, one thing every student must have in abundance is observation.
You must be able to observe carefully when a little change occurs in the chemical reaction or experiment being performed.
When you miss that little deviation or change due to your not being observant enough, you miss the whole essence of the experiment and probably score a zero, if it is in an exam.
Little things cause great effects in the science world. You must be super observant and take note of minute things or seemingly insignificant things.
This is true of life. Many of us miss out on the blessings of God due to lack of observation of relevant truths. My father in the Lord said, “The things of the spirit are very slippery”. You can easily miss a major point due to poor observation.
Friend, if you don’t observe well you will miss the details of life and destiny. The dictionary defines observation as, “To notice or view, especially carefully or with attention to detail.”
Hagar’s eye had to be made observant by God. God had to open her up to the details she was missing. If there is something we all need as believers it is the power of observation.
To be continued…
