Genesis 21:1 “And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.”

Ruth 1:6 “Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.”
Psalms 8:4 “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?”
Psalms 8:5 “For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.”
In these instances, the Lord visited his people and didn’t go empty handed, he gave them bread, glory, honour etc.
I remember how my children normally gets excited when one of their Aunties promise to visit. They are excited because they know for sure she’ll come with several goodies for them. She’ll bring biscuits, chocolate, toys and several other fanciful things. Her coming is always a blessing.
That’s a human being, how much more God! When God decides to visit a man he comes with bounties and blessings. No great king walks alone, so when the King of kings visits you, he brings you glory and honour.
The question now is, “How do I experience Divine Visitation?”
To answer the question, let’s take another look at our focal scripture:
Genesis 21:1 “And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.”
We can see two key words here, “…as he has said” and “…as he had spoken”
Beloved, those are the words that bring God to your home and situations.
God honours his words, his words is his bound. When he speaks, he himself obeys! The Bible is called the law of God because the words spoken there binds God himself. Hear this:
Isaiah 55:11 “So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.” (MSG)
