But, beloved, beyond your smartness, good morals, wisdom and academic qualifications is Jehovah God! If it has been left to your sword alone you would have been in serious trouble. The enemy would have roasted you as barbecue for Christmas.
Thank God for your skills, but then, understand that without HIM you can do nothing and you are nothing!
John 15:5 “”I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing.” (MSG)

Friend, the year 2017 has been given to you as a gift. You didn’t fight to be here; your sword was too small to give you the land of 2017. God’s sword, right hand, arm and favour gave it to you and me.
Let this be your mentality throughout this year. Brainwash yourself into believing that God is always working behind the scene and at the background of your life.
This wisdom will keep you humble and fully dependent on him. He will always send you an angel with a drawn sword to fight alongside.
If you draw your sword against physical battles, what about the invisible ones?
God is with you; He will never leave you or forsake you. He brought you into 2017. Allow Him navigate it with you even as he fights for you and showers you with his favour.
