Take the risk-5

John 11:7 “and then he said to his disciples, “Let us go back to Judea.””
John 11:8 “”But Rabbi,” they said, “a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you, and yet you are going back?”” (NIV)
…From yesterday…
Remember what Jesus had earlier said:
John 11:4 “When Jesus heard [that], he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.”
Jesus knew that in Lazarus’ sickness God would be glorified. He knew it would bring God praise and honour before men, so he was willing to be a part of it, even if it seemed like a very risky venture.
Friend, what are you ready to undertake for God’s glory?
You knew if you preached to that man and he gave his life to Christ, heaven would rejoice.
Luke 15:7 “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
Yet you refused to tell him about Christ for fear he might stop talking to you or stop being your friend. If you don’t risk talking to him or her, how will you know he has been longing to know Christ?
What are you ready to risk for the kingdom?
The truth is Life is all about risks. The level to which you risk determines the level of success, victory, promotion and breakthrough you will encounter.
Albert Einstein said, “A ship is always safe at the shore – but that is NOT what it is built for.”
That has been the bane of several lives. Everybody wants to remain at a comfort zone but nothing great is ever achieved there.
Your ability to take risk will bring you to a comfort zone and give you miracles and outstanding testimonies but that will be all. To experience the next level of miracles you will need to take the next level of risks.
Beloved, Faith always has elements of risk written all over it!
To be continued…
