John 11:7 “and then he said to his disciples, “Let us go back to Judea.””

Genesis 12:4 “So Abram left just as GOD said, and Lot left with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.” (MSG)
How many people can do that? I guess most of us would have brought out our “Google map” and asked God to point the place to us before we would agree to move, but not Abraham.
He followed God without asking further questions. He risked it and became the father of faith!
Hundreds of years later, another man took a similar risk to discover a new Land behind the horizon. He took this risk when the whole world believed the earth was flat and that if you sailed too far you would fall off.
This man and his crew thought otherwise, took the risk and they discovered the most powerful nation on earth as of today, the United States of America. There is no way we will mention the Americas without mentioning Christopher Columbus.
Hear what Jesus said:
Matthew 9:21 “She was thinking to herself, “If I can just put a finger on his robe, I’ll get well.” Jesus turned–caught her at it. Then he reassured her: “Courage, daughter. YOU TOOK a RISK of FAITH, and now you’re well.”” (MSG)
The woman with the issue of blood took a great risk and got her healing. Doctors told us that because of her condition she must have been very weak and frail, yet she went into the crowd and forced her way to Jesus.
What if she couldn’t get to touch the helm of Jesus’ garment that day? I guess she probably might have been too weak to try again, but she succeeded in spite of all the odds against her, and till date we are still reading her story.
Hear Jesus again:
Matthew 25:28 “‘Take the thousand and give it to the ONE WHO RISKED THE MOST. And get rid of this “play-it-safe” who won’t go out on a limb.” (Emphasis mine)
