John 11:6 “When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.”
John 11:7 “and then he said to his disciples, “Let us go back to Judea.””

Jesus knew that Bethany was probably one of the reasons his friend died, so he changed the order! He switched to Judea.
If you listen carefully to what he said you will discover something interesting. Jesus said, “Let us go back again to Judea.” (AMP)
Judea simply means, “God shall be praised”. I love that! Jesus was simply telling his disciples, “Forget Bethany, sorrow and misery, let us return to praise”.
Since Bethany was located within Judea region, he was simply saying, “Wrap up your sorrow and pains in praise”. Let praise swallow up your misery!
Friend, it’s time to return to praise!
Yes Bethany is real, but much more real is Judea. Judea is bigger and better, more glorious and wonderful. Enough of pitching your tent at Bethany; switch on to Judea.
Peradventure you keep telling yourself, “I’ve praised before and there was no change…” Jesus had that same experience too. That was why he didn’t tell his disciples to go to praise, he said “…Let us go back again to Judea.” (John 11:7) (AMP)
He said, “Go again to praise”. Don’t let the sorrow of Bethany weigh you down, give God quality praise again!
Perhaps you have prayed all manner of prayers and but situation has refused to change, God is saying, “Switch to praise!” Wrap Bethany with Judea!
Philippians 4:6 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
Paul was illustrating how prayers should be made; he understood the Bethany to Judea principle. You must master it too!
Friend, quit calling it Bethany, rename it Judea, Selah!
