Immersion-3
John 11:5 “Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.”
John 11:6 “When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.”
…From yesterday…
When Jesus finally got to Lazarus tomb he just made a statement and the dead man came out. He said:
John 11:41 “Then they took away the stone [from the place] where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up [his] eyes, and said, Father, I THANK THE THAT THOU HAST HEARD ME.”
The question that readily comes to mind is, “When did he pray the prayer that God heard?”
The secret was at Bethabara!
Jesus stayed back to dig deep into the word of God and pray deep and earnest prayer to God concerning his dear friend. He did that for two days until he was assured that God had heard him!
He sorted out the issue in the spirit realm and simply went to Lazarus town to rehearse the reality of Lazarus’ healing and restoration to life in the physical.
Friend, when you tarry in the place of prayer whatever seems to have run and escaped you in the physical will be forced to wait for you. It doesn’t matter how long the challenge might have lingered, you can always catch up and overtake it in the spirit realm.
The spirit world is more real than the physical and it controls the activities of the physical world.
2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.”
Another translation says, “…the things which we see are subject to be changed by the things we do not see…” This agrees with the fact stated in Hebrew 11:3.
Hebrews 11:3 “By faith, we see the world called into existence by God’s word, what we see created by what we don’t see.” (MSG)
