Right Approach-2

John 11:4 “When Jesus heard [that], he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.”
…From yesterday…
Beloved, could it be that when you received that news the first thing on your mind was which doctor you could call? Where is the best hospital in that town? What efforts have you made? Who and who have you consulted?
Jesus’ approach was to get the attention of His Father by notifying Him first. Let that be your approach to issues, no matter how difficult or terrifying the challenge is.
Another reason I discovered was that Jesus wanted the enemy to know that he operated from a position of victory. The enemy meant an evil outcome but Jesus already announced his victory. Assuming Jesus is like many people he would have conceded defeat to the enemy even before the contest.
I have seen people worsen situations that could have ordinarily been dealt with by panicking. Once the devil gets you into the panic room, he has won. Refuse to panic but rather announce your victory.
Beloved, you are a victor no matter what happens. The result has been declared before the duel. Announce your victory each day and let the enemy hear you. Wake up each day for instance and declare, “As I go out today I will return home safely”. Let the whole world hear you.
Why would you talk like that? Because:
Psalms 121:7 “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.”
Psalms 121:8 “The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
What God says stands against all odds. You are flying and the pilot says, “There is serious turbulence”. Don’t fret, simply declare that, “This turbulence is not to crash this plane but for God to display his glory”.
The news don’t decide your fate, your disposition and approach do.
To be continued…
