John 11:2  “(It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick)”
John 11:3 “So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.””
John 11:5 “Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.”

Colossians 3:12 ‘Therefore, as [the] elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;”
3. He said you are Beloved! God said he has a very strong affection for you! You are just loved. Friend, you need to step into the realm of God’s love and faithfulness. God loves you beyond comprehension. We may never fully comprehend His love for us on this side of eternity, but indeed he loves us beyond description!
Romans 1:7 “To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called [to be] saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Can you see Romans 1:7 agreeing once again with Colossians 3:12? What a special person you are! Beloved Saint!
Ephesians 1:6 “To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
We are accepted in the beloved. It doesn’t matter what anybody says or doesn’t say, God loves us so richly and deeply! It thrills me each time I think of this. God loves me more than I can ever love myself!
Mary and Martha knew this truth so much. Can you boldly tell God your problems and challenges in this manner?
Oh, how I love this revelation. I can now pray prayers like;
“Lord, the one you love is sick.”
“Lord, the one you love is broke.”
“Lord, the one you love is travelling and needs some protection.”
“Lord, the one you love is flying tonight, no storm, no bad weather; he needs some angels to bear up his plane.”
“Lord, the one you love is writing exams.”
“Lord, the one you love is being threatened by the enemy.”
