John 11:2  “(It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick)”
John 11:3 “So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.””
John 11:5 “Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.”
…From yesterday…
Mary and Martha rode on the back of their relationship with Jesus and sent for him. What thrilled me however was the composition of their message to Jesus.
I love it so much! Hear them,”Lord, the one you love is sick.” (John 11:3).
Those ladies blew me away! They have a revelation that many present day believers do not. They understood the love of God!
Friend, do you have a revelation of the love of God? Do you know you’re the beloved of the Father and of his Son Jesus?
How I wish we’ve all come to the realisation of this great truth! My friend, we are greatly loved by the Lord. God is love and he will always show it. Consider this:
Colossians 3:12 ‘Therefore, as [the] elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;”
Since you are born again, you need to understand three great truths about your new nature.
1. You are now the elect of God! It doesn’t matter who leaves you and who doesn’t, it doesn’t matter the electoral laws of your country. What matters is that God has elected you. He picked you from the company of the damned and condemned and brought you into the company of his dear Son, Jesus Christ. You must know and believe the fact that you are elected by none other than God Himself. What a great privilege!
2. You are holy! Note he didn’t say you will become holy, he said you are holy! Your own righteousness and holiness are like filthy rags, so at the new birth, God removed your filthy rag and imputed to you his very holiness,. Hallelujah! God calls you holy and that settles it!
