Who is in Your Boat?-10

Jonah 1: 4 “But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken”
Jonah 1: 5 “Then the mariners were afraid and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay and was fast asleep”
…From yesterday…
Peter and his folks were great and skilful fishermen, but lack of the right man on board made their efforts useless.
Friend, perhaps an aspect of your life is frustrating and useless. You might have tried all you can and know, yet you have no tangible fruits. It may probably not be due to having the wrong person in your boat, rather, it is the absence of the right man!
Peter invited the right man into his ship and his entire life changed. I know you might be thinking you’re born again, which is correct, but then is Jesus Lord and Master in your business, family, career, finance and destiny.
You will enjoy victory in life to the degree to which you allow Christ to rule and reign. When Peter allowed the right man in his boat the result was phenomenal:
Luke 5:6 “And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were [at the point of] breaking,”
Luke 5:7 “They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and take hold with them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.”
Friend, having the right man in your boat is the difference between success and failure. You are not just to keep the wrong man out; you’ve got to bring in the right man. The number one right man that must be on board is Jesus.
As I said earlier, I am not just talking about being born again or getting saved; no, I am talking about giving Jesus control.
To be continued…
