Be a Thinker-10

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS.” (Emphasis mine)
…From yesterday…
I saw another interesting statement made by Paul to Agrippa.
Acts 26:2 “I think myself happy, king Agrippa…”
Paul said, “I think myself happy”, i.e. happiness, joy, sadness, moodiness, anger, and any mood are products of our thought!
Friend, are you sad, broke, downcast, poor, etc? Simply check the quality of your thought. What have you been thinking?
When we think right thoughts, we do right things, and we have right feelings. But when we think wrong thoughts, we do wrong things and have wrong or unpleasant feelings.
Our thoughts, values and beliefs will either make us or break us. Our mind has incredible power, so be careful about what you’re thinking.
Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinks in his heart, so [is] he.” (NKJV)
Your life can never be better than the quality of your thoughts!
In conclusion, hear Paul:
Philipians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK on these things.”
God did not leave us in the dark concerning what to focus our thoughts on; he spelled them out! Anytime you want to think or whenever a thought crosses your mind, ask yourself, is it true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report?
If it does not conform to this criteria drop such thought! And guess what? Great thoughts can only be found in his Word.
Friend, let the thought of the Master be the master of your thoughts, Selah!
Love you BiG
