Be a Thinker-7

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS.” (Emphasis mine)
…From yesterday…
The quality of the thought of God has given birth to the stability and the wonders of our world. God proved Joshua 1:8 to us in the way the earth was birthed. God gave the creation of the world quality thought and we can see the success story.
Proverbs 8:27 “I was there when he established the heavens, when he drew the horizon on the oceans.”
Proverbs 8:28 “I was there when he set the clouds above, when he established springs deep in the earth.”
Proverbs 8:29 “I was there when he set the limits of the seas, so they would not spread beyond their boundaries. And when he marked off the earth’s foundations,” (NLT)
Each time I read this portion of Scripture I can’t but appreciate the wonderful thoughts of God! Can you imagine the quality of thought that went into planning the earth so successfully?
Beloved, if we must be successful in our own world, we must brace up our thought life and become great thinkers in the capacity of God. We must resemble God in the way we think and reason.
A wise man said, “Our life goes in the direction of our most dominant thought. You cannot expect to be kind, gentle, loving, or patient without thinking the right things.”
Equally, you cannot expect to live a life of victory without thinking victory thoughts.
As a matter of fact, every word that comes out of our mouth comes from a thought, whether consciously or unconsciously. If you want to know how much of a thinker a man is, just listen to his words. A wise man speaks wisdom and vice versa.
Hear King Solomon:
Proverbs 4:23 “Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life” (NCV)
