Our thoughts determine the direction of our life; thinking for sure is connected to success.
One thing that baffles me is the fact that God is a thinker. God thinks! Hear Him:
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the THOUGHTS that I THINK toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Emphasis mine)
Jeremiah 29:11 “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out–plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” (MSG)
If God is a thinker and you are his son, shouldn’t you be a thinker? Beloved, choose to think. Your brain is not for decoration.
The interesting thing is that God didn’t just say he thinks, he describes his thought pattern. He said he thinks about peace, not evil; that is to make sure we have an expected end. In the same vein, if we must get to our expected end, we must align our thoughts with his.
In the Message translation of Jeremiah 29:11, it says that God plans; it takes quality thinking to plan.
Each time I consider our world, I can’t but marvel at the quality of thinking and thoughts that must have gone into the planning. From elementary science we understand that man breathes in oxygen and breathes out carbon dioxide. Plants on their own part take in carbon dioxide and emit oxygen. We invariably depend on each other for existence.
If you have ever studied the Eco system you will agree with me that the thinking that went into the planning must be awesome.
