So how do I deal with God on His terms?
John 2:5 “His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do [it].”
I love that advice from no other than Jesus’ mother. She said “…Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it”.
Don’t debate it; don’t reconsider it; don’t argue it; JUST DO IT!
I have come to discover that even if you say God’s instruction doesn’t make sense, He is still smarter than you! Hear this:
1 Corinthians 1:25 “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
1 Corinthians 1:25 “Human wisdom is so tinny, so impotent, next to the seeming absurdity of God. Human strength can’t begin to compete with God’s “weakness.”” (MSG)
You are smart; thank God for your smartness; thank God for your endowments and ability; but you must realise all those are no match for the Creator of heaven and earth.
He knows where your success is and He wants to give you the breakthrough you so long desire, but only on His terms. Your wisdom is so tiny and impotent compared to what God can offer. If His foolishness is smarter than your wisdom, what will his wisdom be when compared to yours?
Beloved, hands off, and let Him lead. He can give you whatever you desire, but only on His terms.
Here is the most intriguing part: He has handed over His terms to us on all subject matters; it is called the BIBLE! Look no further; just flip it open and get His terms!
Trust Him enough and “…Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it!” Selah!
