Embrace Something Brand New -1

Isaiah 43:19 “Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.”(MSG)
One of the most difficult things to do is to try out something new. That something is new means to many people what shouldn’t be embraced. We would rather stay back in the comfort of the known than venture into the unknown.
Trying out something new is simply a venture many will dare not touch. Once you have an idea and discover nobody has done it before, we quickly drop it. Many a times it is so that people will not call us stupid or foolish. Many consider the region of new things as unsafe and a taboo.
But our focal scripture said God is an expert at new things and has called us to be alert and present to embrace and see it. Until you develop a capacity for the unusual, you will always get the usual. If you don’t try something new, you will always get the old results.
Beloved, God loves the new and is constantly throwing us an invitation to newness. The question is, will you dare believe and embrace it?
Let’s consider this account:
Acts 10:10 “And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,”
Acts 10:11 “And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:”
Acts 10:12 “Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.”
Acts 10:13 “And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.”
Acts 10:14 “But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.”
Acts 10:16 “This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.”
