The Power of Innovation-10

Genesis 30:37 “And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which [was] in the rods.”
Genesis 30:38 “And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.”

Genesis 30:39 “And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.”
…From yesterday…
The starting point of every innovation is God and then a dream. Innovation is always God dropping an idea from His mind into ours. God saw the way Jacob had been cheated and decided to step into the matter.
He didn’t withdraw Jacob from Laban’s house; He simply gave Jacob an innovative idea to bail him out. That innovative idea is what we now refer to as Crossbreeding!
Friend, the major way to develop an innovative mindset is by constant fellowship with God. God is known as Father or Abba, and the word Abba simply means “The Source”.
Do you need a creative and innovative idea? Then talk to the SOURCE! I have since discovered that from the very beginning, everything God made has built-in features, capacities and capabilities. God alone knows what can happen when you combine two or more of His created components together.
When you ask Him for an idea, He simply shows you how to put existing things together in order to generate new things. It is no wonder that many of the foremost inventors in our world have been believers! They include men like Michael Faraday, who gave us electricity; Orville and Wilbur Wright, who gave us the airplane; Sir Isaac Newton, who gave us the laws of gravity and motion; Francis Collins, who helped complete a groundbreaking research into human DNA and gene sequences.
