The Power of Innovation-7

Genesis 30:37 “And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which [was] in the rods.”
Genesis 30:38 “And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.”

Genesis 30:39 “And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.”
…From yesterday…
Laban woke up one day and discovered that the man of innovation, although his servant, had become far richer than him! Laban was angry and did what every natural man would do:
Genesis 31:7 “And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me.”
Laban changed the terms of the agreement; he called his lawyers and they altered the original deal. He didn’t do it once; he did it ten times, but on each occasion Jacob came out on top.
Friend, it doesn’t matter how many times they change your wages, all you need do is to innovate. As the popular saying goes, “When the world throws you lemon, make lemonade”.
Laban kept changing the colour of the sheep and Jacob kept producing the colours. If Laban said, “Let your sheep be yellow or pink, while I will take the white and black,” thinking it was impossible, Jacob shocked him by producing it!
Nothing can stop a man that has mastered the art of innovation. Put him in the desert and he will turn it to a fertile ground. Give him toilet water with particles, he will purify it and give you clean drinkable water.
Give him fishermen, and he will make them world changers; if in doubt, ask Apostle Peter!
Give him a four day buried and decaying corpse, and he will give you a living Lazarus!
To be continued…
