Little foxes-5

Song of Solomon 2:15 “Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines [have] tender grapes.”
Song of Solomon 2:15 “Our vineyards are in blossom; we must catch the little foxes that destroy the vineyards.”(CEV)
…From yesterday…
The key word is “a little” And before long the little becomes much. The little drink you take once in a while suddenly becomes an addiction.
The little hanging out becomes uncontrollable and missing church once in a while suddenly becomes attending church only on Christmas Day and very special occasions.
Once you compromise once it start growing till you lose grip and control of your decisions and emotions. Be careful of the compromise fox, it has ruined many destinies, no wonder the bible warns:
James 4:4 “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
James warns us that once you compromise your stand and take side with the world, you automatically turn yourself to an enemy of God and of course we know that nobody can survive as God’s enemy.
Paul then told us that our ways as Christians is antithesis to the ways of this world and we must therefore refuse to be conformed to their pattern.
A little compromise will sure lead to a big compromise. Adam and Eve compromised the instruction of God with the devil. Solomon Compromised His Faith and soon forgot all about God who enthroned him.
Joseph refused to compromise with Portiphar’s wife and Jesus refused to compromise with the devil. You too can live on earth and be successful without compromising your faith!
