1 Samuel 17:33 “And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.”
1 Samuel 17:42 “And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was [but] a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.”

Your parent’s status in the society? Your past life, moral character, men’s perspective of you?
There is an account in the Bible that is very intriguing. It is the story of Mary Magdalene. Do you know she was the first person to see and speak to the risen Christ? By all moral and worldly standards she was definitely not qualified!
She was a renowned retired prostitute, yet all that changed when she encountered Christ!
As a matter of fact, another renowned prostitute by name Rahab found her way into the lineage of King David and by implication became a part of Jesus’ ancestral lineage.
Joshua 2:1 “And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went and came into an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there.”
Rahab was a big time harlot that entertained nobles. She ran a high class motel. She did harlotry to the point that the king and nobles of the land knew and reckoned with her. She was an underdog in spiritual matters, yet she defied all odds to even make it to the Biblical Faith Hall of Fame in Hebrews 11.

Who told you you’re finished and inconsequential? Who are the pundits that have predicted your future?
The world is full of pundits. A pundit is a self-professed expert in a particular field, especially when called upon to provide comments or opinion in the media. Pundits are expert critics and opinion leaders.
