Philippians 3:17 “Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.” (NKJV)

Hebrews 6:12 “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
…From yesterday…
We know the story of David from 1Samuel 17, how he faced the giant called Goliath and brought down his head. From then on he became a world acclaimed hero, later mounting the throne, and till date the most decorated war hero and king in Israel.
We all have two choices in life; we either face the giant or remain dwarfs!
Wars will always come! The giant will always threaten! But the gist is this, the war will always end, and, of course, someone will lose his head to another. For you, who will it be?
You have lost your head to that giant of anger, pride, confusion, depression, malice and unforgiveness for too long. I hope you know those are giants too!
Friend, those giants might have been harassing you for “forty days”, some forty years, some since birth, and yet every time they show up you run for cover just like the Israeli army did each time Goliath showed up. I find something interesting in the encounter between Goliath and the Israelites. All Goliath did was talk and harass them. There was no record that Goliath fought and killed anybody in their presence. He was only harassing and intimidating them.
Friend, the truth of the matter is that when you run and confront those giants, you will be shocked to discover that they have only been harassing you and wasting your time for nothing.
They don’t have what it takes to stop you! If your giant is anger, for instance, when next it comes, just stand up and tell it, “I refuse to get angry”, and you will be shocked that it will just fade away.
To be continued…
