Philippians 3:17 “Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.” (NKJV)
Philippians 3:17 “Stick with me, friends. Keep track of those you see running this same course, headed for this same goal.”(MSG)
Hebrews 6:12 “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
…From yesterday…
Friend, taking risk is daring God! When God tells you something, and you dare Him at his word, He will come true for you.
When you move at His prompting, He suspends every other thing to attend to you! The three Hebrew boys dared Him and He left everything else and ‘jumped’ right into the fire before they ever got there! What a God!
Beloved, what risk has He been telling you to take? To go preach to that your stubborn boss? To start that new business? To change location or some friends?
You might have been thinking, what if your boss sacks you? What if the business fails? What if that place doesn’t favour you? What if you storm out of that ungodly relationship that seems to be earning you a living and the supply stops?
Well, I have some other questions for you: what if it works out well? What if your boss becomes your church member? What if the business becomes the biggest in your locality? What if God start supplying all your needs?
Friend, before God tells you to move, He has moved! He has jumped into the fire ahead of you; He is waiting for your move! Take that risk! Remember:
Matthew 25:28 “”‘Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this “play-it-safe” who won’t go out on a limb.”
The next example to follow is one of my favourite bible characters by name David. We also have a catalogue of stuffs to learn from him, but my focus is this; never get afraid of giants!
