Philippians 3:17 “Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.” (NKJV)
Philippians 3:17 “Stick with me, friends. Keep track of those you see running this same course, headed for this same goal.”(MSG)
Hebrews 6:12 “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

Beloved, every divine instruction is in our best interest!
Even if you think you’re very wise, know that there is something called experience, and you can never live long enough to gather all the experiences you need. That is why God has packaged every instruction you’ll ever need on the journey of life into this wonderful book called the Bible.
Anytime you hear an instruction that is contrary to the one from the Word, go and crosscheck with the Bible, the only original and authentic source!
It is better to err on the side of caution! I guess the bible would have ended in Genesis chapter 2, if only Eve and Adam had moved on the side of caution.
Friend, when in doubt about any instruction given even in your office or work place, go and reconfirm from the instructor. Nobody will kill you for asking for a repeat of a critical instruction, and by the way, be smart in taking in instructions, and always have a jotter or small book handy to take notes.
Back to our examples, the next person to consider is the man Noah. Noah was the progenitor of our modern day race after God destroyed the first set of men on earth. He was of course a descendant of Adam who chose to be different against all odds. By the way, one of the reasons God destroyed the world by flood was because man broke every instruction He put in place!
What can we learn from this great patriarch? The example I want us to pick from him is that he chose to be different by doing what is right even though he was alone!
