Handle the problem-6

Exodus 14:15 “And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward”
Exodus 14:16 “But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”
…From yesterday…
Friend, weep not and march forward. Some group of guys were in battle and called themselves the “armies of Israel” and were crying and fainting at the sight of a giant called Goliath, this they did for 40 days and 40 nights. They matched themselves against their problem, which was Goliath and discovered they were no match.
But one day a young boy showed up and introduced himself as a member of the army of “the Almighty God” whom the Philistine champion, Goliath was trying to defile. David simply matched the problem against his own commander in chief by name “the Almighty God” and that solved the problem!
Friend, I want to charge you to go forward! It is never about you, it’s about His Awesome Presence!
The next instruction God gave Moses was equally interesting. He told him to lift up his rod. The rod represents the word of God.
Isaiah 11:4 “But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the ROD of HIS MOUTH, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.”
The bible here talks about the rod of His mouth, but naturally it should have been rod of His hand. The Holy Spirit intentionally showed us that the rod as it were comes from our mouths. The word of God is rod and it can “flog” our enemies and dislodge them!
God told Moses to lift it up and stretch it over the problem and then divide it. Friend, what rod are you streching against the enemy? What chapter and verse?
To be continued…
