Handle the Problem-4
Exodus 14:15 “And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward”
Exodus 14:16 “But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”
God said “Get moving”, your appearance is supposed to scare and send cold shivers into the opposition, not the other way round! Don’t let the problem paralyse you. Summon up courage and keep moving. When you approach the problem, you’re simply telling it to run!
Beloved, the reason God told them to march towards the problem was because of His awesome presence with them.
The irony here is that most times the enemy can sense the presence of God with us, but many times we don’t. A lack of the knowledge of God’s presence with us makes it impossible for God to act on our behalf, and this invariably hands over victory to the enemy.
Let me show you what happened when they “March forward”:
Psalms 114:3 “The sea saw it, and fled Jordan was driven back.”
Psalms 114:4 “The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.”
Immediately they marched forward, obeying the instruction of God, the red sea fled! Even Jordan ran back, same for the mountains and hills!
David was the one giving this account by revelation. He was curious when he saw these elements running without confrontation. So, he went ahead and asked them a question:
Psalms 114:5 “What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?”
Psalms 114:6 “Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?”
They then answered David unanimously:
Psalms 114:7 “Tremble thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob”
