Handle the problem-1

Exodus 14:15 “And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward”
Exodus 14:16 “But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”
Our focal scripture today was an encounter the children of Israel had during their sojourn to Canaan. It was about the first major challenge that confronted them after they left Egypt.
They were on their way to the promised land after being set free by Pharoah but then the Egyptian king came running after them when he suddenly realised that his entire work force had left. He also realised that their departure had left Egypt impoverished, so he decided to make a last ditch effort to bring them back.
He followed strongly after them with his entire military might which sent cold shivers down the spine of the Israelites. The sad part of it was that the Egyptian army caught up with them just as they got to the bank of the red sea! There seems to be no escape route for them and it looks as if the end has come.
They however turned to their leader and hipped all the blame on him.
Exodus 14:10 “And when Pharaoh drew nigh the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.”
Exodus 14:11 “And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? Wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?”
Beloved, have you ever been in that situation before? A situation where it looked like all hell had been let loose on you. A situation where you are between the red sea and the Egyptian army. A case of hopelessness!
