Curing Lameness-16

Acts 3:7 “And he took him by the right hand, and lifted [him] up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength.”
…From yesterday…
General Naaman was a leper who needed healing. He went to the servant of God for healing but was shocked at the instruction he got.
The prophet seemingly “held his right” but rather than allow his “ankle bone receive strength” and cure for his lameness, he questioned the instruction. (2 Kings 5:11)
Beloved, it’s high time you allowed your “Peter” hold your hand and pull you up. I have seen people go to their pastors for prayer on a challenge and before the pastor prayed, they asked him to anoint them with the oil instead! If you know so much about the oil, why go to the pastor in the first place? It’s high time we learned absolute trust and confidence in God’s instruction and give our total obedience.
As we round up this meditation, let us look at one more verse:
Acts 3:8 “And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.”
Peter and John helped him and he became like them. He got what they had but they didn’t leave him at that point; they took him inside the temple to enjoy what they had been enjoying.
Friend, you need to watch your associations carefully. This man had been helped to the temple gate everyday by some folks of his who had never bothered taking him into the temple. (Acts 3:2)
Beloved, choose your friends carefully. Know when a man has taken you to the last bus stop he knows. Not everybody can take you by the hand and lead you to destiny.
To cure lamness follow the men who knows the way into the temple and who follows it. Don’t stay by the gate. The temple (your word study, personal devotion and prayer life) is the key to curing every lameness.
Let every area of lameness in your life receive the touch of heaven. Rise up and walk in Jesus name!!
