Curing Lameness-9
Acts 3:1 “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, [being] the ninth [hour].”
Acts 3:2 “And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;”
Acts 3:3 “Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.”
…From yesterday…
How do you develop or grow to have what to give? How do you get to a point where people can look up to you in order to receive from you?
The answer is not far-fetched; it is embedded in that same focal scripture.
Acts 3:1 “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, [being] the ninth [hour].”
You develop this capacity at the place of the word and prayer, which is your temple. Your temple here is referring to the place of personal altar and devotion. The temple is a place of spiritual development. These two Apostles don’t joke with their temple and prayer, no wonder they had what to use to cure lameness.
What issues have persisted in your home, office or relationship that has kept you rooted to a spot? What lameness has paralyzed your maximum performance? It’s high time you look into the word, the sure foundation and grow in your word study and prayer life.
If you’ve been giving it 30 minutes before, you might need to put in more time. Labour in the temple and prayer and in no time, not only will your lameness be cured, you will have the capability to cure the lameness of others as well.
In the next verse Apostle Peter made an outstanding statement loaded with principles. Hear him:
Acts 3:6 “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”
