Curing Lameness-8

Acts 3:1 “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, [being] the ninth [hour].”
Acts 3:2 “And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;”
…From yesterday…
Another interesting thing to learn from Peter and John is that this lame man looked unto them expecting to get something. Peter and John however didn’t disappoint him, they had something to give.
Acts 3:4 “And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.”
Acts 3:5 “And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.”
In verse 1, the bible says “Now Peter and John went up together”, In the Greek, the word “WENT UP TOGETHER” here means “GROW UP TOGETHER”, in order words when you grow in the knowledge on God, or develop your word base, you develop something you can give to the world.
Peter represents the word and John means gracious giver, when you grow up to maturity in the word of God you develop something you can graciously give to the world! You become a man or woman who has something to offer. You become one who people can look up to!
What do you have that you have been developing? What do you have that you have refused to develop?
What word of God are you meditating and standing on that can give the required result which can cure the “lameness” in your office, workplace, business environment, school, church etc?
The reason why no one is looking up to you is simply because they don’t see you as somebody that has what can cure their lameness! The reason you’re needed wherever you go is because of the solution you can provide or providing. You must buckle up your belt and keep learning in order to always have what to give!
To be continued…
