Curing Lameness-1

Acts 3:1 “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, [being] the ninth [hour].”
Acts 3:2 “And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;”
Acts 3:3 “Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.”
Friend, I welcome you to this brand new meditation. In this piece we are going to be picking lessons from this healing that took place through Peter and John by the beautiful gate, as the Holy Spirit will help us.
The healing was that of a lame man who had been begging for alms at the Beautiful gate for a couple of years.
This piece is tagged “Curing Lameness” not because you’re probably physically challenged or lame in your legs as it were but because many people suffer from one form of “lameness” or the order.
When you hear the word lameness, it can mean several things; it can mean inability to walk properly because of a problem with one’s feet or legs. It can mean moving with pain or difficulty on account of injury, defect or temporary obstruction of a function, such as a lame leg, arm or muscle.
It can also mean “Unconvincing or unbelievable” or Hobbling; limping; inefficient or imperfect. In order words anything that causes retardation or inefficiency in a man is what we refer to as lameness. Whatever makes a man perform below his full capacity or potential is what is called lameness.
I want you to start making a mental computation of the lameness in your life. What are the things limiting you? It could be friends, a bad experience, a terrible past, family background, your boss at work, lack of proper education or even a physical impediment. I believe God to give you a cure through this piece in Jesus mighty name.
To be continued…
Love you BiG
