Paul said “that thy profiting MAY appear to all”. It simply means the level of his commitment at the place of meditation and study of the word determined the level of his profiting. If he didn’t do these things right, his profiting MIGHT never appear to all!
For any vision to become a reality, you must work it! Paul went ahead and told him to “…stir up the gift of God…” (2 Timothy 1:6).
Beloved, nobody will do the stirring for you. You’ll have to roll up your sleeves and get down to work. You determine the level of your profiting by the level of stirring you put in!
As we round up this meditation, I want you to reflect on the introductory story of how my friend endured several pains, shame, hunger, etc. never giving up because of the joy that was set before him. Beloved, before you envy somebody’s success, go and listen to his story first, then make up your mind if you actually want his kind of success!
Hear this:
Psalms 126:5 “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”
Psalms 126:6 “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [with him].”
The quality of your seed makes your harvest predictable!
Diane Nyad said, “I am willing to put myself through anything; temporary pain or discomfort means nothing to me as long as I can see that the experience will take me to a new level. I am interested in the unknown, and the only path to the unknown is through breaking barriers, an often painful process.”
Hebrews 10:24 “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to GOOD WORKS:”
The bible says we should provoke ourselves to do good works, and I sincerely hope this piece has done that for you! Selah!
