When Christiano Ronaldo moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid as the then most expensive footballer on earth for a whopping 80 million Pounds, many people raised eyebrows. I did too and thought it was crazy, but I think I know better now!
Recently, I saw a picture of Ronaldo jumping to head a ball into the net. It was a beauty of a goal, but what caught my attention was the height he jumped! When he jumped, his knees were at the same height as the head level of the defender that was supposed to be marking him when he made contact with the ball! His legs were practically at the guys head!
That was a massive jump and it set me thinking…
