Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
Paul admonishes us not to get deceived! In case you’ve been deceived or deceiving yourself, hear this from Lift, God is not mocked! Make the required exchange! Hear James:
James 2:14 “What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?”
James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
I love it in the message translation:
James 2:18 I can already hear one of you agreeing by saying, “Sounds good. You take care of the faith department, I’ll handle the works department.” Not so fast. You can no more show me your works apart from your faith than I can show you my faith apart from my works. Faith and works, works and faith, fit together hand in glove.
James 2:20 “Use your heads! Do you suppose for a minute that you can cut faith and works in two and not end up with a corpse on your hands?”
Don’t kill yourself believing God and not acting by paying the corresponding price. Believe and Act!
