Friend, have you ever sat down to evaluate the cost of your harvest or dream you’ve so much desired. What are you ready to give in exchange for your dreams?
Paul knew what most people don’t know and this is it:
Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
Luke 6:38 “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
The first statement was made by Paul, the second by our Lord Jesus Christ! Both statements are saying the same thing!
Beloved, that next level will cost you! It will cost you time, efforts, labour, prayer, fasting, faith, self-denial, patience, sleepless nights etc.!
Do you think they just dash people First Class in the university? No sir, First Class students burn the midnight candle while others are sleeping and snoring!
There is an incidence in Mark 9:17-29. The disciples couldn’t cast out a demon from a boy, and the father brought the case to Jesus. Jesus sorted out the issue in minutes! The disciples couldn’t believe it. They asked him why they couldn’t cast out the demon, and he told them, “this kind of problem requires prayer and fasting!”
Before the incidence, he had taken them to the mountain to pray all night. But while he prayed all night, the disciples slept all night! His disciples even refused to fast!
