I am doing this new piece partly as a sequel to the last series titled “Extra mile”. We have received several testimonies and praise reports about how God has made “Extra mile” a blessing to several people that read it. We have had an overwhelming response to the glory of God.
A dear friend of mine of several years who is also a LIFT PARTNER had a chat with me on the principle of “extra mile” and how it had worked for him. I was excited and went ahead to schedule a meeting with him to hear his full story so that we can learn from it.
Let me share his story with you:
I finished from the university some years ago but graduated with third class. I felt very down and lost confidence in myself. I couldn’t use my certificate to look for a job as I was too embarrassed with my grade to show it to anybody. It was like I had wasted my years in the university.
I began to think back and then decided to enroll in the military. All my life I had wanted to be a soldier so I tried severally to get into the Nigerian Defense Academy but it didn’t work out. After several failed attempts, I decided to consult God and ask Him for direction.
I prayed fervently for several days seeking His face and guidance and to my greatest amazement God began speaking to me in very clear terms.
