Mark 5:4 “Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces neither could any man tame him.”

1 Peter 2:1 “Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,”
Those are manifestations of unclean spirits which lead to madness. Why not treat those symptoms spiritually by asking for the Holy Spirit’s help? Beloved, watch your thoughts and beware of things that can make you impure.
Let’s move on in our meditation by picking another lesson:
Mark 5:5 “And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.”
Here the bible says day and night he was in the mountains and in the tombs. A madman on the mountain talks about a fake life, trying to impress people, arrogance and pride, claiming to be what he is not. He exalted himself foolishly. He is up posing on the mountain top but goes down to the tomb to mourn.
One time, he is on the mountain, and the next moment, in the tomb. God’s plan is for you to get to the mountain top, stay there and keep climbing. Your path is to keep shining brighter and brighter. Not bright and dim, then bright and dim again. That’s mountain and tomb things. It is not your portion in Jesus’ name.
Don’t put yourself on a fake mountain, remember:
1 Corinthians 4:7 “For who maketh thee to differ [from another]? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive [it], why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received [it]?”
John 3:27 “John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.”
Friend, calm down. There is nothing you have that was not given to you from God. Banish every appearance of pride and arrogance from your life!
