Breaking free from Madness-5

Mark 5:2 “And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,”
Mark 5:3 “He lived there among the tombs and graves. No one could restrain him–he couldn’t be chained, couldn’t be tied down.”
Mark 5:2 “As Jesus got out of the boat, a madman from the cemetery came up to him.” (MSG)
…From yesterday…
Apart from dwelling among the tombs, no man could bind him or restrain him. What does this mean?
Beloved, this simply means this guy listens to no one. He is simply a man out of control. He has no regard for authority, he does whatever he deemed fit and pleasing to him.
Don’t ever grow to the level where you no longer listen to anybody. This is share pride and arrogance. A man that listens to no one is a dangerous man that should be avoided like a plague.
Have a spiritual authority or father over your head, a mentor or a trusted friend that can tell you the truth point blank, if need be. Don’t ever get out of control. Many leaders find themselves living in this fantasy world and they normally self-destruct.
Everybody loves praises and commendation no doubt but most times the people shouting your name to high heavens might not all mean well for you. Learn to listen to constructive criticisms from trusted quarters.
Not listening to anybody as we can see from this story is a demonstration of madness, friend receive your healing in Jesus name!
Mark 5:4 “Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces neither could any man tame him.”
Here the bible says no man could tame him. My father in the Lord often say, if you don’t have a man that can tell you to shut up and sit down in your life, you’re out of control and untamed. Such was the case of this man.
To be continued…
