Break Free from Madness-3
Mark 5:2 “And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,”
Mark 5:3 “He lived there among the tombs and graves. No one could restrain him–he couldn’t be chained, couldn’t be tied down.”
Mark 5:2 “As Jesus got out of the boat, a madman from the cemetery came up to him.” (MSG)
…From yesterday…
Sometimes past success is the bane of future exploits, beware!
This man was mad because he lived in the midst of people who were no longer relevant to his destiny, people who are not in a position to help him or make him a better person. Have you checked your company of friends lately?
I have seen people holding tenaciously to relationships that are no longer relevant to their journey in life. They stick around men who have no future and are going nowhere!
They are hanging around ignorant people, with no life, no vision, no mission, no dreams, no plans, no aspirations and no targets.
Are your closest friends dead people? Beloved, if you have this category of people as close friends, I am sorry to inform you that you need to break away from them lest they put you in the category of this madman.
Break away from unfruitful relationships that don’t help you.
Hear this:
Ecclesiastes 9:4 “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.”
Friend, run away from those dead lions! Yes, they were lions agreed, but they are no more!
Another issue with living in the “tomb” of life is that you have no competition! You develop a superiority mentality.
You feel nobody can challenge you. You are the “alpha and omega”. By the way, that title is only reserved for God! If you have nobody to inspire you, you will soon expire!
Always challenge yourself, if you are the only millionaire in your group, leave that group and join the billionaires’ club!
To be continued…
Love you BiG
