Beloved, the reason most people speak words without effect is because they either don’t believe what they’ve heard or faith is not yet released. Faith does not come by hearing but rather by “hearing and hearing”. Hearing here (Rom.10:17) is present continuous. Never stop hearing. Always speak from a depth of revelation!
As we round up this meditation, let us look at our focal scripture again. This scripture refers to Jesus Christ and the suffering he went through to redeem mankind, and his quietness through it all. The question is why was he quiet?
The gist is this: Christ was not quiet because he was weak or lacked what to say. He was quiet in order to die like a lamb so that you and I can have the power and ability to roar like a lion! Hear him:
Matthew 26:53 “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?”
Matthew 26:54 “But if I did that, how would the Scriptures come true that say this is the way it has to be?”” (MSG)
Friend, Christ needed to be quiet at that stage to fulfill divine mandate. But the truth is, the Man who needed to be quiet was quiet when he needed to. That time has passed; it is time for you and I to roar back at every oppression and affliction.
You have the ability to fight back with your mouth, and if need be, call HOME for support. Guess what? You can have twelve legions of angels as reinforcement. In case you don’t know, twelve legions are seventy two thousand (72,000) angels!
Friend, “don’t be oppressed, afflicted and brought as a lamb to the slaughter!” ever again. Christ was that lamb, not you! Open your mouth and ROAR like the lion that you are.
Remember, “The strength of the oppressor is the quietness of the oppressed!” Selah!
