Isaiah 53:7 “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.”
Isaiah 53:8 “He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.”
…From yesterday…
They enemy can only threaten. No man can keep a “speaking spirit” down. Their threats meant nothing. Immediately they got back home they resumed speaking!
Acts 4:23,24 “And being let go, they went to their own company…they lifted up their voice to God with one accord…”
You can’t afford to be quiet. Silence means “I agree with the oppression of the oppressed!”
I must however warn that you are not to speak empty words or words from your background. Those are not valid in the realm of the spirit. Nobody respects your native language and their proverbs. So what counts?
Acts 4:20 “For we CANNOT BUT SPEAK the things which we have seen and heard.”
Peter said, “The words we speak are no ordinary words; they’re from what we have “seen and heard”. You speak faith filled words based on the revelations you see and hear from the WORD of God. Hear this:
Romans 10:17 “So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
2 Corinthians 4:13 “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;”
2 Corinthians 4:13 “We’re not keeping this quiet, not on your life. Just like the psalmist who wrote, “I believed it, so I said it,” WE SAY WHAT WE BELIEVE.” (MSG)
Here is the process: hear the word; once you hear the word, believe it and let it produce faith in you. Once your belief system and faith are in place, start speaking that which you believe!
