The Obsession of God-1

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
Hebrews 13:5 “…He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]” (AMP)
I want to specially welcome you to February 2016; it will be a great month for us in Jesus name. You will shine this month and the Lord will help you. Happy new month, Beloved.
Back to our focal scriptures, friend, most times when I read these texts from the word of God the only thing that seems to cross my mind is the word “obsession”!
What kind of God can be so attached to man that he will not want to leave, fail or forsake us? He meant it so much that he said it with all audacity. What type of God lives inside a man!
Well, I am glad to let you know that he is the kind of God you and I are serving! He didn’t just say he won’t leave us, he meant every single word of it. In fact, I think the word obsession is an understatement!
Hear him again:
Isaiah 49:16 “…You are always in my thoughts!” (CEV)
God said we’re always in his thoughts! I always find that comforting and assuring. God will never leave! God is always thinking about me! God will always be there for me, no matter what! Oh…how I love this God!
Permit me to share this beautiful story with you (used with permission):
In the country of Armenia, in 1988, Samuel and Danielle sent their young son, Armand, off to school. Samuel squatted before his son and looked him in the eye. “Have a good day at school, and remember, no matter what, I’ll always be there for you.” They hugged and the boy ran off to school.
To be continued…
Love you BiG
